In\ncelebration of Charis Bible College\u2019s twenty-fifth anniversary, U.S.\nRepresentative Doug Lamborn prepared and read an acknowledgement into the\nCongressional Record on the floor of the House of Representatives. \u201cIt\u2019s a way that Congressmen can\nrecognize and honor exceptional activities, organizations, or individuals in\ntheir home districts,\u201d says Richard Harris, executive director of the Truth and\nLiberty Coalition. \u201cDuring certain times, Congressmen can honor achievements of\nparticular citizens by giving remarks on the floor of the House. And that\u2019s\nwhat Congressman Lamborn did\u2014he chose to recognize Charis Bible College. So, it\nwas a great honor<\/em> to have him to do\nthat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nrecord was printed, framed, and then presented to Andrew and Jamie Wommack by\nJeff Anderson, Lamborn\u2019s Senior\nFaith Advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am pleased to honor the 25th Anniversary of Charis Bible College. It is nothing short of miraculous to observe the growth that has taken place within the past quarter-century. Charis was founded as Colorado Bible College in 1994 and was originally located in Colorado Springs. Charis has grown from its first graduating class of 33 people in 1996, to include 26 campuses in the United States and 22 international locations.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

When asked about why Representative\nLamborn chose to honor Charis in this way, Harris said, \u201cIt happened because of\nthe strengthening relationship that we have with Congressman Doug Lamborn. He\nhas been a guest on our Truth & Liberty Coalition Live Cast and has\nwelcomed our participation in a meeting to discuss pro-life issues. At our In\nGod We Trust Rally, he prepared a video message that we presented. . . . Congressman\nLamborn heard about our twenty-fifth anniversary, so he took the initiative to\nextend that honor to Charis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a blessing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Christians stand for\nrighteousness, they will find that they\u2019re not alone. Others, even those in\npositions of power, will take notice and stand with them. Thanks go to Doug\nLamborn who was willing to acknowledge all that God is doing through Charis\nBible College!
