\"\"<\/span><\/span>I<\/span><\/span>n\u00a0<\/span><\/span>every good story<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0the main character must arrive\u00a0<\/span><\/span>at a threshold<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>a place of entering or beginning<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>God<\/span><\/span>\u00a0prepares each one of us\u00a0<\/span><\/span>so He can bring us to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>these\u00a0<\/span><\/span>thresholds.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Most of us experience\u00a0<\/span><\/span>hurt, disappoint<\/span><\/span>ment<\/span><\/span>, ang<\/span><\/span>er<\/span><\/span>, or betray<\/span><\/span>al during childhood,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>often\u00a0<\/span><\/span>resulting in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span>n internal<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>vow<\/span><\/span>\u2014<\/span><\/span>I\u2019ll never let that happen again<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Our natural response to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>pain or\u00a0<\/span><\/span>suffering is to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>build a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>fortress\u00a0<\/span><\/span>around<\/span><\/span>\u00a0our\u00a0<\/span><\/span>heart<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>clench\u00a0<\/span><\/span>our f<\/span><\/span>ist<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0emotionally<\/span><\/span>. But God\u00a0<\/span><\/span>wants to lead us back to that vulnerable\u00a0<\/span><\/span>place and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>ask\u00a0<\/span><\/span>us\u00a0<\/span><\/span>to open our hand<\/span><\/span>s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>cross the threshold<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to a new beginning.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

M<\/span><\/span>any\u00a0<\/span><\/span>times,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>I\u2019ve witnessed people\u00a0<\/span><\/span>who\u2019ve been brought to the threshold\u00a0<\/span><\/span>yet\u00a0<\/span><\/span>never crossed it.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>It\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span>\u00a0sad<\/span><\/span>\u00a0thing to see<\/span><\/span>\u00a0because<\/span><\/span>\u00a0breakthrough\u00a0<\/span><\/span>is always\u00a0<\/span><\/span>on the other side of obedience<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
