God thinks differently\u00a0<\/span><\/span>from<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>how\u00a0<\/span><\/span>people<\/span><\/span>\u00a0think<\/span><\/span>. However, when we follow Him,\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>we can have peace knowing His plans for us are always good<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. In 2008,\u00a0while\u00a0Steve was in\u00a0prayer,\u00a0God put it on\u00a0his\u00a0heart to have a fourth child\u2014though the couple had long come to\u00a0the\u00a0agreement that their family was complete.\u00a0Steve did not accept it right away. For two months, Steve resisted while the Lord continued to impress it on him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

One evening around midnight, the Lord instructed Steve to tell his wife<\/span><\/span>, and Steve finally surrendered<\/span><\/span>. He\u00a0<\/span><\/span>went to Holly and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>shared with\u00a0<\/span><\/span>her<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>that God\u00a0<\/span><\/span>had been waking him up<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in the night\u00a0<\/span><\/span>for two months about\u00a0<\/span><\/span>them\u00a0<\/span><\/span>having a<\/span><\/span>nother<\/span><\/span>\u00a0baby. The news surprised Holly, but the couple\u00a0<\/span><\/span>decided<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to listen to the Lord. Shortly after, she conceived.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A<\/span><\/span>t their second\u00a0<\/span><\/span>prenatal\u00a0<\/span><\/span>doctor<\/span><\/span>\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0visit<\/span><\/span>, the doctor<\/span><\/span>\u00a0proceeded to list\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>signs and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>symptoms\u00a0<\/span><\/span>she saw\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in the baby<\/span><\/span>\u00a0on ultrasound,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>tell<\/span><\/span>ing<\/span><\/span>\u00a0them, \u201c<\/span><\/span>Y<\/span><\/span>ou have a greater than one<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>in<\/span><\/span>–<\/span><\/span>two chance\u00a0<\/span><\/span>that this baby has\u00a0<\/span><\/span>D<\/span><\/span>own syndrome.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0When the doctor left the room, Steve canceled the<\/span><\/span>\u00a0evil<\/span><\/span>\u00a0diagnosis<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in Jesus\u2019 name<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>T<\/span><\/span>he couple\u00a0<\/span><\/span>recognized<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>facts<\/span><\/span>,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>knowing<\/span><\/span>\u00a0the doctor was simply doing her job,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0but\u00a0<\/span><\/span>determined in their hearts to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>believe the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>truth<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>found in the Word of God<\/span><\/span>. T<\/span><\/span>hey had\u00a0<\/span><\/span>been grounded in the truth\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in their church group<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>by<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Andrew\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Wommack\u2019s<\/span><\/span>\u00a0teachings.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>So<\/span><\/span>\u00a0t<\/span><\/span>hey knew God\u2019s will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was\u00a0<\/span><\/span>for a healthy baby.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Going back\u00a0<\/span><\/span>for the next ultrasound<\/span><\/span>, the Trovers\u00a0<\/span><\/span>resolved<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>not to be led by emotion. Instead, they would stand on God<\/span><\/span>\u2019<\/span><\/span>s Word.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>When t<\/span><\/span>he nurse informed\u00a0<\/span><\/span>them\u00a0<\/span><\/span>that they would have a different doctor<\/span><\/span>, it was<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Holly\u00a0<\/span><\/span>who\u00a0<\/span><\/span>asked to see the original doctor.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The original doctor arrived and\u00a0began to take\u00a0measurements. Steve waited in the background humming\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m Counting on God.\u201d\u00a0After measuring and remeasuring, the doctor\u00a0finally\u00a0stopped to say,\u00a0\u201cI<\/b>f this was the first time I<\/b>\u2019<\/b>d<\/b>\u00a0seen this baby, I would tell you there<\/b>\u2019<\/b>s nothing wrong and he<\/b>\u2019<\/b>s perfect in every way.<\/b>\u201d\u00a0She continued measuring but couldn\u2019t find anything wrong,\u00a0saying\u00a0\u201cThis is\u00a0just\u00a0one of those times when you\u00a0throw your hands up in the air.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span>After\u00a0baby\u00a0Nathaniel was born, the nurse gave him a perfect Apgar score of ten, which she mentioned was something she rarely\u00a0did. The Trovers\u00a0saw this as a clear sign of God showing off!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
