The Lord wants to expand you beyond your own borders and your own concepts of yourself.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Because it\u2019s not in our own understanding to know the right way to go\u2014it\u2019s in our relationship with God as we trust in Him, as He broadens our borders, as He expands our tents (Is. 54:2\u20133), and as He begins to whisper in our ear the destiny, the calling, and the plan He has for our lives as we continue to follow Him.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I love that when Jesus came, He took all of our sin and gave us His righteousness. He shed His blood so that all we have to do is call on the name of the Lord, believe in our hearts, confess with our mouth that Christ is the Lord, and we shall be saved.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tThat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

And now we have this journey of discovering this amazing grace that He has called us into.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

First and foremost, you must grasp that God\u2019s plan for your life cannot be discovered in your giftings, flesh, or talent. Second, God\u2019s plan for your life is a good plan; it\u2019s a thought-out plan; it\u2019s an amazingly awesome, anointed, and blessed plan. Remember, you\u2019re not a mistake; you were placed in the world at this time and place for a purpose.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tHow precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

That\u2019s an incredible thought: the thoughts that God thinks toward you and me far outnumber the sands of the sea. God has had a lot of time to think about you, to place you in the place that you\u2019re in, and God\u2019s plans for you are better than any plan you could ever develop for yourself.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tCommit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

That word \u201ccommit\u201d comes from the Hebrew word \u201cgalal,\u201d which means \u201cto roll\u201d (Strong\u2019s Concordance).<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Let\u2019s say that a blank piece of paper crumpled into a ball represents your life and plans. And let\u2019s say that another piece of paper crumpled around that ball represents God\u2019s will and His plans for your life. That\u2019s what it means to \u201cgalal,\u201d \u201cto roll.\u201d It means to completely roll up into another.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This verse is about truly being committed with all your heart to the Lord and being able to say, \u201cLord, it\u2019s not about me. It\u2019s about You. It\u2019s about what You want for me. It\u2019s about the desires You have for my life\u2014I\u2019m laying this down.\u201d When you do that, you\u2019re taking your life, this piece of paper (the inner ball), and you\u2019re rolling it up into another (the outer piece of paper wrapped over it).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You\u2019re saying, \u201cLord, I may have a crumpled life, but I\u2019m giving it to You, and now I\u2019m covered by You.\u201d Now the two, which were two pieces of paper, have become one. They\u2019re inseparable. One\u2019s surrounded by and inside the other. So now, wherever I take this outer piece of paper, the inner piece of paper goes. We\u2019re now rolled up in Christ Jesus and we\u2019re committed to Him. Wherever God goes, we go. Whatever He thinks, we think. Whatever He does, we do.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

What an amazing concept, being committed!\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We\u2019re making that commitment and we\u2019re not backing out. I\u2019m committed to my wife. I have a covenant with her. She\u2019ll never get rid of me. Why? Because I\u2019m committed to her. And that\u2019s the same thing we\u2019re doing in our relationship with the Lord. It\u2019s no longer about us but about the One who lives in us (1 Cor. 6:17 and Gal. 2:20).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It\u2019s a tremendous blessing to understand that it\u2019s not about me being smart enough or talented enough; it\u2019s about me being surrendered to what God has called me to. God has specifically called you, designed you, and placed you in the timeframe in which you\u2019re living right now because He has a plan for your life.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Maybe you\u2019re asking yourself, How do I know what God wants me to do? And how do I fulfill the calling God has on my life?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Surrender your life to Him and dive into the Word. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into the truth. You\u2019ll receive provision, understanding, and the empowerment to move forward. You can discover God\u2019s plan for your life and trust Him more and more, and as you lay down your life, you\u2019ll receive more than you could\u2019ve ever bargained for!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It\u2019s not about your plans, thoughts, or abilities. Cast all your cares upon Him because He truly does care for you (1 Pet. 5:7).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
