I\u2019m excited because I believe God is going to really begin to reveal to you the power of what He\u2019s called you to do and where He\u2019s called you to go. You know, everybody wants to have a grand calling and accomplish something significant in the world, and I do believe that God has called us to change the world. He\u2019s called us to be salt and light in the darkness by Living as an Example!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

But the enemy wants you to think that your life is just average and mundane.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

But as long as you see yourself as ordinary, average, mundane, broken, flawed, or dysfunctional, you\u2019ll never step into the realm of saying, \u201cGod, reflect Yourself through my life.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

How do we come to a place of surrender and submission in this dynamic relationship with God, where we\u2019re able to reflect and glorify Him?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Can we get to a place where we\u2019re boldly telling people, \u201cHey, follow me as I follow Christ\u201d?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Yes, that is the very life God has called you and me to live.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tBe ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t1 Corinthians 11:1<\/cite>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In 1 Corinthians 11:1, Paul said, \u201cFollow me as I follow Christ\u201d<\/em><\/strong> (Modern English Version). Another translation says it this way: \u201cImitate me as I imitate Christ\u201d<\/strong><\/em> (GOD\u2019S WORD Translation). God used this verse to reveal to me how He had called me to live a life of humility and confidence. \u201cFollow me\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u2014that\u2019s the confidence\u2014\u201cas I follow Christ\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u2014that\u2019s the humility of not doing our own thing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tI am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGalatians 2:20<\/cite>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Even born-again believers can remain stuck in the world if they\u2019re still catering to ungodliness and worldly desires. But we can let the Word of God transform us in those areas to the point where we no longer live in the flesh.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Today is the time!<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It\u2019s time that we say, \u201cLord, I\u2019m going to crucify the lust of the flesh with Your help.\u201d<\/em> (See Titus 2:11\u201312.) Now we have an urgency, courageousness, and boldness inside of us to deny ungodliness. Why? Because we know how God sees us and that we\u2019re loved.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

If somebody says that you are average, working an average job, or living an average life, but you know you have relationship with God and you\u2019re at the right place and time, doing the right thing\u2014then you are not doing average. You\u2019re doing what God\u2019s called you to do today. And doing what God\u2019s called you to do today is key to what God has for you tomorrow.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You may say, \u201cI know there are bigger things in my future. I know it and I sense it.\u201d<\/em> So, you can be tempted to look around you and look at your life and think, Ugh! This season is so boring compared to what I know is ahead.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

Well, how do you not live a boring season?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

How you don\u2019t live a boring season is by determining that right now, in every interaction, word, decision you make, thing you do\u2014all of it comes from a heart saying, \u201cLord, how do I reflect You?\u201d<\/em> That\u2019s where it gets exciting!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

That\u2019s where you start out your day and say, \u201cAlright, Lord. I\u2019m going to my job. So, how do I reveal You through my life today?\u201d<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Sometimes people think that this is just prophetic or supernatural, but being a living example happens in everyday life.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tAnd be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRomans 12:2<\/cite>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

There\u2019s that choice again\u2014to not be conformed\u2014deciding to live as an example and saying, \u201cI\u2019m not going to be conformed to this world but I\u2019m going to be transformed by the renewing of my mind.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

That transformation puts you in a place where you think, see, talk, and respond differently in your everyday life. It\u2019s so radical to the world and it becomes your normal, where you\u2019re not blowing up and swearing like maybe you used to. There\u2019s been a transformation, so now, instead of getting mad, you\u2019re okay.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

People might even think you have a right to get mad when you\u2019ve been wronged. But you\u2019ve just decided, \u201cNope, I belong to the Lord. I\u2019m not going to get angry or talk negatively about people. I\u2019m going to give this to the Lord. The Lord\u2019s my defense.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

People around you might even ask, \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with you?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

And I love that! You can respond, \u201c<\/strong>What\u2019s wrong with me? Oh, let me tell you what\u2019s right with me!<\/strong> Let me tell you what God has fixed, restored, and redeemed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I\u2019m excited about this season of your life. God is wanting to restore, redeem, and teach you to be effective right now in reflecting Him each day!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
