One night in 2013, Sunny John was watching television with his family in Milton Keynes, England, when suddenly his body was frozen, and he couldn\u2019t move at all. His wife rushed him to the emergency room, and no matter how much morphine he was given, he was in so much pain that he screamed uncontrollably. For two months, he underwent countless scans and tests until it was finally determined that he had Crohn\u2019s disease, a rare inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract.
