A Middle<\/b>–<\/b>of<\/b>–<\/b>the<\/b>–<\/b>Night Word from God<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Lord doesn\u2019t always speak to me at\u00a0three-thirty\u00a0in the morning, but when He does, I\u2019ve learned to listen. This time it was only a few words:\u00a0<\/i>\u201cGod adds His super to your natural to produce the supernatural.\u201d\u00a0The longer I lay there thinking about it, the more I realized I needed to write it down.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So I wrote a little booklet about this because too many Christians misunderstand how God works. They believe God moves independently of them, and they sit on the sidelines waiting for a miracle to fall from heaven. But that\u2019s not what the Bible teaches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Biggest Lie in the Church Today<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

I\u2019ve always said this, and I\u2019ll say it again: the worst doctrine in the body of Christ is the sovereignty of God doctrine\u2014at least the way many people define it. The Bible says God is almighty, first in rank and authority. But some have twisted that to mean God works without us and that nothing is required from us. That\u2019s simply not true.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2 Peter 3:9, it says,\u00a0\u201cThe Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0God wants everyone to be saved\u2014but He won\u2019t force us. He doesn\u2019t force us to walk in joy, peace, or righteousness. That\u2019s our choice. That\u2019s our responsibility.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

James 4:1\u20132 makes this crystal clear:\u00a0\u201cFrom whence\u00a0<\/i>come\u00a0wars and\u00a0<\/i>fightings<\/i>\u00a0among you?\u00a0<\/i>come they\u00a0not hence,\u00a0<\/i>even\u00a0of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not God who\u2019s letting sickness, poverty, or despair happen\u2014it\u2019s us when we fail to step into the authority He\u2019s given us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That is huge. But most Christians don\u2019t see it this way, and they just wait for God to act alone. But Jesus already gave us authority. Matthew 10:1 and 8 says:\u00a0\u201cAnd when he had called unto\u00a0<\/i>him\u00a0his twelve disciples, he gave them power\u00a0<\/i>against\u00a0unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. . . . Freely ye have received, freely give.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have a part to play.<\/b>\u00a0If we don\u2019t act, the supernatural power of God cannot flow through us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Miracle That Started with a Fishing Trip<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s a great story that illustrates this in Matthew 17:24\u201327. It\u2019s about Peter and the coin in the fish\u2019s mouth. Jesus could have provided the money directly, but He didn\u2019t. He told Peter to cast the hook. That was the natural action required. The fish swallowing the coin\u2014that was supernatural. God had already lined everything up, but if Peter hadn\u2019t thrown the hook, nothing would have happened. God\u2019s provision was waiting, but Peter had to act.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This principle is everywhere in Scripture. God doesn\u2019t just hand us money or blessings out of thin air. Deuteronomy 8:18 says:\u00a0\u201cBut thou shalt remember the L<\/i>ord<\/i>\u00a0thy God: for\u00a0<\/i>it is\u00a0he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0God gives us the power, the ability, and the anointing to act. He doesn\u2019t create money. He doesn\u2019t fix the lottery. He equips us to step into what He\u2019s already made available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

A Million-Dollar Idea Stirring in a Pot<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Let me share a real-life example. Decades ago, a woman in one of the Bible study groups I held was struggling financially. She had a family, children to feed, and bills piling up. She was cooking clay in her kitchen for her kids to play with because she wanted a safe, non-toxic alternative to the store-bought stuff. And while she stirred that clay, she prayed, \u201cGod,\u00a0what can I do in the natural for You to put Your super on\u00a0it\u00a0so I could see Your supernatural provision?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And right there, God answered her and gave her an idea: make the clay in different colors, shape it into small cylinders, put six cylinders in a bag, and sell them at fairs. She obeyed. She acted in the natural. And within a year or two, her small operation grew into a thriving business with over eighty employees. Millions of dollars came in\u2014not because God miraculously created money, but because He put His super on the natural actions she took.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even in finances, it\u2019s the same. Luke 6:38 says,\u00a0\u201cGive, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0God doesn\u2019t rain money from heaven. He doesn\u2019t just place it in your bank account. He sets in motion opportunities and people to bless you, but you must act. Apply for that job, meet that person, start that business, send that message, or offer that help. That\u2019s the natural action God wants to multiply with His supernatural power.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Miracles Don\u2019t Fall\u2014They Flow<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

And let\u2019s not forget healing, relationships, or any area of life where you are waiting on God. First Peter 2:24 says,\u00a0\u201cBy whose stripes ye were healed.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0God has already made provision. Matthew 10:8 says the same:\u00a0\u201cHeal the sick . . . : freely ye have received, freely give.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0But if you don\u2019t step out in faith, nothing flows.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a partnership. God sets up the supernatural, but He flows through our obedience. He blesses what we put our hands to. Psalm 138:2 says that\u00a0He has magnified His Word above all His name.\u00a0God\u2019s Word is the promise. It\u2019s the foundation and the guarantee. But we have to act to see it fulfilled.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
