Walking in the Power of God<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What would happen if you truly believed God wants the best for you\u2014not someday in heaven, but right now? Too many believers settle for a life far below what God intended. We\u2019ve been told miracles and healing are rare and that supernatural power is of the devil. But that\u2019s a lie. God wants you well. God wants His power to flow through your life. And once you really understand this, it will change your life\u2014your health, your joy, your relationships, your whole walk with God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God\u2019s Power Lives Inside You<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me start with a truth that\u2019s often overlooked. The Bible says plainly in\u00a0Romans 8:9<\/b>,\u00a0\u201cNow if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This means once you are born again, you have the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead living on the inside of you (Eph. 1:19\u201320). So, if that\u2019s true, why aren\u2019t we seeing more Christians walking in supernatural healing, freedom, and power? The answer is not that God is withholding\u2014it\u2019s that we have not fully stepped into what we\u2019ve already been given.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I know this from experience. I\u2019ve seen my son raised from the dead. I\u2019ve seen\u00a0Charis Bible College\u00a0students in Uganda, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and elsewhere raise people from the dead. These\u00a0things\u00a0are proof that God\u2019s power still works today and is available to every believer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Healing Is God\u2019s Will<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sad to say, Christians are often told\u00a0that\u00a0healing is not for everyone, or that it\u2019s only a spiritual reward for some, or a gift from God we just have to hope for. That is simply not what the Bible says.\u00a0Acts 10:38<\/b>\u00a0tells us that Jesus\u00a0\u201cwent about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Jesus never turned anyone away. If He had the authority of God Himself and wanted people well, then that is exactly how God wants it today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet many believers think healing is something \u201cout there,\u201d somewhere in the atmosphere, and that we have to somehow or another beg God to send it down. I used to believe that too. I remember a time when I thought there were demonic powers that had to be overcome just to get our prayers to God. But that is not the reality for a born-again believer. God lives inside you. You don\u2019t need to pray for Him to come down\u2014He\u2019s already in your spirit.\u00a0Hebrews 13:5<\/b>\u00a0says He\u2019ll never leave\u00a0us\u00a0nor forsake us. What a promise!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eternal Life Begins Now<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Many people think salvation is just about forgiveness and going to heaven. And yes, that is an awesome part of it\u2014but it\u2019s only one part. Eternal life is more than endless years in eternity; it\u2019s knowing God intimately right now, today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

John 17:3<\/b>\u00a0says,\u00a0\u201cThis is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Eternal life is\u00a0relationship<\/b>. It\u2019s intimacy. It\u2019s walking with God, hearing Him, speaking with Him, seeing His power manifest through you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If all you do is pray for forgiveness, then you\u2019re missing the real purpose of salvation. God didn\u2019t just want to remove a barrier of sin so we could avoid hell. He wanted a\u00a0relationship<\/i>\u00a0with you. And part of that relationship is seeing His life flow through you in supernatural ways\u2014healing, deliverance, restoration, miracles, and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Authority You Already Have<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Matthew 10:1\u00a0<\/b>says that Jesus\u00a0\u201cgave them power\u00a0<\/i>against\u00a0unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Then He told them in verse 8,\u00a0\u201cHeal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Healing isn\u2019t up to God alone\u2014you already carry His power. I think most Christians aren\u2019t seeing miracles today because they either don\u2019t believe or don\u2019t understand what\u2019s already been provided in Christ.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop Settling for a Substandard Life<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The New Testament church saw miracles daily. People would break through roofs to get someone to Jesus because His power was evident. Today, we have padded pews, air conditioning, and all sorts of comforts\u2014but people aren\u2019t coming because there is no manifestation of God\u2019s power.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus said in\u00a0John 14:12<\/b>,\u00a0\u201cVerily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater\u00a0<\/i>works\u00a0than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0The works of Jesus are meant to be done by us today\u2014not just in heaven, not just in some idealized version of the church, but here on earth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But I\u2019d estimate that the majority of Christians don\u2019t even believe in the miraculous today\u2014simply because it\u2019s convenient not to. They don\u2019t have to pray, they don\u2019t have to study the Word, and they can live just as carnally as someone who doesn\u2019t know the Lord. If they say God doesn\u2019t do miracles, then when someone gets sick or struggles, they can just let it happen\u2014because their doctrine says that\u00a0it\u2019s God\u2019s will. That\u2019s a cop-out. It\u2019s a chicken way to live.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You might think I\u2019m weird, but I think you\u2019re weird if you aren\u2019t living like the Spirit of God is alive within you. You\u2019ve been given everything\u2014healing, provision, victory over sin, peace that passes understanding. To act like it\u2019s not real, or to live as if it\u2019s not available, is\u00a0to deny the very power of God. He didn\u2019t save you to scrape by\u2014He saved you to walk in resurrection life every single day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
